The chapel and its surrounding cypress-lined path have been immortalized in countless photographs, epitomizing the timeless beauty of this Tuscan countryside. Finally, we’ll explore Casa de “Il Gladiatore”—a remarkable estate with deep historical significance and a connection to ancient Tuscan traditions, adding a unique layer to our experience.

•    Exclusive Wine Tasting in a Tuscan Cave: Descend 60 meters below Piazza Grande into the atmospheric depths of ancient Etruscan caves for a private wine tasting at one of our favorite local vineyards. Here, you’ll savor the exquisite flavors of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, enjoying a unique experience surrounded by centuries of history.
   
•    Escape to the Countryside: In the afternoon, leave the town behind and head into the Tuscan countryside. Visit the Cinta Senese Pig Farm and meet the famous belted pigs. •   Evening at the Villa: Return to the villa for free time to relax, swim, and unwind. Meet for a sunset cocktail hour followed by trivia night. Finally, indulge in a special wine maker’s dinner prepared by our local private chef, with carefully curated wines from the vineyards you visited earlier, offering a perfect end to your day in Tuscany.

Both renowned chefs will guide you through creating five classic Tuscan dishes with a modern twist, showcasing the artistry of slow food and the freshest local ingredients.

•  A Toast to the Final Day: We’ve saved the best for last! Start your day with a tour of one of Montepulciano’s oldest organic and biodynamic vineyards. Here, you’ll experience their innovative vineyard experiment, the “Vineyard in the Round,” as well as a fascinating walk through their cellars dating back to the 1800s.
   
•   You’ll also have the rare opportunity to visit the Vinsanto in the attic, where they craft their renowned Vin santo, an ancient dessert wine with a rich history. Learn about the traditional process behind this sweet wine and taste their exceptional 13-year-old Vin santo, paired with a light, gourmet lunch. 
   
•   Explore Cortona: In the afternoon, we will venture to the charming hilltop village of Cortona, made famous by Frances Mayes’ book Under the Tuscan Sun. During your visit, Sandy and Phil will take you to Villa Bramasole for a photo stop, allowing you to capture the beauty of this iconic location.
   
•  Shopping & Souvenirs: Afterward, explore Cortona’s picturesque streets with Sandy and Phil as your guides. You’ll visit their favorite local shops and artisans, where you can purchase handcrafted linen, cashmere, olive wood, and other authentic Tuscan products to take home as souvenirs.
   
•  Farewell Dinner at the Villa: As your unforgettable week in Tuscany comes to an end, Sandy and Phil invite you to a special farewell dinner in our Tuscan Kitchen. Our private chef will prepare a stunning tasting menu, beautifully paired with wines from the region. To elevate the experience, Francesco Maramai, a Level 4 Sommelier from Perbacco Wine Club, will host a “Master Class” on famous Italian wines, enriching your culinary journey and providing the perfect ending to your Total Tuscany experience.
